Our family’s journey to DeFazio’s Pizzeria began in Utica, NY, where we grew up surrounded by great food and strong community ties. In 2007 we moved to Orlando, but it wasn’t until 2021, when we found our true home in Harrison, Tennessee, that the dream could finally take shape. Owning a pizzeria had always been Steve’s passion, but it was our son James (“JC”), with three years of experience working in a Chattanooga pizzeria, who gave us the confidence and know-how to bring that dream to life.

When we stumbled across the perfect location in Ooltewah, we knew it wasn’t by accident — it was the right time, the right place. With nothing but faith, a dollar, and a dream, DeFazio’s was born. Today, we’re proud to serve our neighbors not just pizza, but a welcoming place where families and friends can gather, laugh, and share something delicious. We’re not trying to be New York, and we’re not fancy — just a family serving hand tossed pizza made right, in the community we love.
